A zesty four-ingredient Crockpot Lime Chicken Tacos that is nothing short of delicious!

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 6 hrs
  • Yields: 5 Servings

Ingredients

3 pounds boneless chicken breast (I use Organic Trader Joe’s Chicken breasts)

1 cup Valentina Mexican Chili Sauce

2 cups salsa (I use Organic Mango salsa)

2 tablespoons chopped garlic

1 tablespoon lime juice

Directions

1Place all ingredients in a crockpot/slow cooker.

2Cook for 6-8 hours on low heat.

3After time is up, take out all ingredients from the slow cooker and shred them up using a fork (This is how you get the ‘taco’ feel).

4Stir in any remaining Valentina Mexican chili sauce, unless you want milder tasting tacos.

I love to put the shredded chicken on top of a bed of lettuce or greens, brown rice with gaucamole and garnish with cilantro and to top it off, I squeeze half a lime on top of the dish. Zow! Use with your fav corn or brown rice tortillas.
