Baked Skillet Fries

I love using my iron skillet, espeically for these fries. Feel free to use any type of potatoes you like.  I love good ol' fashioned Russets, but these fries are just as good when using farm fresh purple, red or yellow potatoes.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 35 mins

Ingredients

3-6 potatoes, washed and sliced thinly

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt, pepper, paprika to taste

Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°F (or to 400°F for convection).

2Cut potatoes into ⅛ inch slices.

3Pat dry well to remove any extra moisture.

4Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper and parprika.

5Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.

6Serve with your favorite dip!

FAB Tip: Want a different flavor combo? Try adding garlic powder, turmeric, oregano or cumin to spice up these taters.
