This Homemade Castille Facial Cleanser is easy and quick to make plus leaves your face feeling refreshed.  Get creative and add your own mix of essential oils.

  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Yields: 8 ounces (+ the oils make it a smidgen over 8 ounces)

Ingredients

3/4 cup filtered or distilled water

1/4 cup liquid Castile soap (I use the mild baby)

1/2 tsp organic almond oil

3-4 drops vitamin E oil (optional - I put it in)

8 drops Frankincense essential oil

8 drops Lavender essential oil

Directions

1In a 4 to 6 oz. foaming soap bottle, add liquid Castile soap, organic almond oil and vitamin E oil.

2Add essential oils

3Fill with distilled or filtered water

4Shake well and use as needed.

I didn't have a foaming soap bottle so I put it in a regular squirt bottle and it works fine.
You will want to use an amber or blue bottle to help preserve the essential oils
* Be sure to leave space at the top in order to shake the contents. If you fill to the top, you won't be able to shake the wash well to mix.
Shake well each time you use
I mix all of the ingredients together in a large glass measuring cup and transfer to bottles
