Chamomile Tisane

This is a perfect relaxing night time drink to ease tension and stress.  Borage leaves specifically help to reduce adrenal insufficiency, blood purification and increases urine flow to remove toxins and the Chamomile and Lemon Balm help to reduce stress and anxiety and promote sleep.  Rose hips are a great immune booster and provide tons of Vitamin C to ward off the common cold or flu.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 20 mins
  • Yields: 1 Cup, 1 Serving

Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoon chamomile blossoms

1 teaspoon rose hips

1/2 teaspoon lemon balm

1/4 teaspoon borage flowers and leaves

Directions

1Boil 1 cup of filtered water.

2Pour the hot water over 1 tablespoon of herb and infuse for 15-30 minutes depending on the herb(s) of choice.

3Cover the pot when infusing herbs with a high volatile oil content.

4Strain herbs and press out as much liquid from the herb as possible.

5Enjoy your tea.
