Imagine waking up with only 20 minutes to get dressed, eat breakfast and get out the door etc…

Squeezing every last second out of sleep, barely having time for yourself to get ready or prepared, feeling discombobulated and unorganized…

What an awful and overwhelming way to start each day!

That was me… not too long ago. Then I read Robin Sharma’s 5 AM Club and started waking up earlier AND implementing a self-care morning routine.

Truth be told, this morning routine didn’t happen overnight. In fact, it took over a year to implement consistently.

The key to solidifying and sustaining any new habit is to integrate it into your personalized lifestyle and make it work for you.

Imagine for a moment, what it would be like for you to wake up before or with the sun, feel energized, productive and filled up before you even start your day?

In today’s episode, I’m sharing 3 simple yet powerful tips to wake up earlier so you can have a more meaningful morning and self-care routine.

Keep reading and watching below.

Here’s 3 tips to help you create a better self-care morning routine, wake up earlier and engrain this as a habit in your daily lifestyle:

0-01 Shift your mindset: Think of getting up earlier as a gift you give to yourself because it allows you to fill yourself up before you give away your precious energy to anyone or anything else.

Go to bed earlier: Want to get up earlier ? Choose an earlier bedtime. One of the barriers to getting up earlier is not realizing that you have to go to sleep earlier.

Choose your morning routine: If you’re not used to waking up earlier, give yourself some space to decide what or how you’d like to fill your time. Would you like to read, journal, meditate, workout and/or sit in peace?

Whatever you choose, know you can always change it and find something that’s going to work uniquely for and with your lifestyle.

Remember, change is hard at the start, messy in the middle and beautiful at the end. – Robin Sharma

If you can consistently build better mornings, you’ll build better days and ultimately a better life you love.
